We artists are passionate individuals dedicated to preserve the art of woodworking and traditional methods of painting while pushing the boundaries of innovation.

ARTISTS

Having completed bachelor degree from ChitrakalaParishath, Bangalore and Masters from Lalithakala Mahasamsthana, mysore, the artist has a deep passion towards Traditional tanjore style of painting.

The intricate process involves preparing the wooden plank, applying multiple layers of gesso for a smooth surface, and creating detailed drawings, adding emboss work, applying pure 22ct and 23.5ct gold foil before commencing with the painting, The artist work is inspired and derived from the sanskrit shlokas, which explain the details about the gods and goddesses,

KUSUM C A

The artist started sculpting at a young age of 10 years with his own personal interest. Having learnt the art of sculpting traditionally under his guru Sri. Gopachari, the artist worked under TTD Sampradaya Kalashala for a vast period of 20 years. He made many vahanam and rathas based on the books Roopagnana rathnavali and shilpashashtram published by TTD. With this experience the artist started taking orders and doing customized works. Many students have learnt under his valuable guidance and now the artist has a team of 12 dedicated sculptors who master in different areas of sculpting. This team has showcased their creations in many exhibitions across INDIA in places like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Jaipur. The artist proudly owns the Artisan Card 174054 issued by Government of India. Over 1000 idols of Venkateshwara Swamy have been sold by the artist which ranges from 1ft height to over 13ft height and have been made in different varieties of wood such as teak, rose, sandal and forest woods. The specialty of these sculptures are that they have been colored in natural chemical free colors. This team has executed a special order of about 10 vahanams and rathas, all handcrafted and designed specifically based on the shlokas for pallikodeshwara swamy temple located in Surutupalli of Tamil Nadu.

Dinesh also teaches traditional method of wood sculpting for interested pupil.
